Thanks all.  JMAC, your inspiring words are enough to tell you that I am, indeed, writing a book.  It has my story and exactly what I am doing in step-by-step detail.

Of course, I will not tout my book here.  That is NOT what this forum is for!  I will continue to share my experiences here!

Meditation?  I'm no expert.  Here's what works for me:

1.  Sitting/resting meditation - I sit cross-legged and touch my thumb to my middle finger on each hand.  I picture a large movie screen with the words "Our" and "Father" on the screen bigger than life.  Then I focus on the blank space between "Our" and "Father."

All the while I chant "Ahhhhhh" (the name of God) and imagine good feelings flowing up from my groin to my head/face.  Feelings like love, freedom, and abunance.

When thoughts come I do my best to let them float away.

On most days, I am able to spend a few moments without ANY problem thoughts.  It is a state of no resistance and it is beautiful.

(A shout-out to Wayne Dyer for most of this)

2. Living meditation - during the day, when I feel resistance I mentally step back and say, "Oh, I'm resisting.  How curious; that is interesting.  What am I resisting?  I don't have to do that."  And the acceptance of my resistance (rather than trying to fight it) usually released it and I jump right back into the stream of source energy.

::downstream

(A shout out to Lynn Grabhorne and Doreen Banaszak for this)

To the God in you,

Greg

Greg-

Thanks for updating us and for how thorough and sincere your words are!!  I appreciate reading your experience and it is very uplifting to me.

I still haven't done the process as specifically as you have. I have, however, continued turning downstream much more easily than ever before and it is fun and just gets easier.

Please keep us aprised of any new wonderful and exciting manifestations!!

Lots of love to all!!

Hello Abers.  I'm no longer able to post at work (our firewall won't allow forums) and I've been busy with feeling good and doing a lot of writing lately, so I haven't been on here as much.  I have been filled with energy and taking inspired action - pumping out a number of articles on LOA and quantum physics for our website.  It's been a blast!

::surfer

November has followed suite as a month of tremendous allowing for money manifestation.  I'm still waiting to hear final word on our last two pieces of big debt, but my desire is for the banks to forgive those two as they've done the rest.

I've paid off almost $30,000 in debt this month!  So far!  And had another $10,000-plus of debt forgiven.  Where does the money come from?  You know the answer...I am allowing the universe to share it with me.

Case in point: an albatross of a property was finally sold this month.  The buyer paid cash and is rehabbing it.  There were some snags on my end, which delayed the sale for a couple of weeks.  The buyer became increasing agitated, for various reasons, and called my realtor on two occasions demanding reductions in his purchase price.  Both times we gave him reductions - amounting to total discounts well over $3,000.

I never stressed on the loss of money.  And I never focused on it.  I just said, "Thank you, God.  Thank you, Universe."

At the closing last week, the buyer showed up and paid us the full purchase price!  There was no mention of any of the discounts and no anger on his part.  Believe me, this buyer is an experienced, old-hand at what he does...he didn't "just forget" to give us $3,500 less for the property.  I have NO explaination for this other than the explaination I have for finding money on the ground.  Thank you, Universe!

::frog

I've been writing about my beliefs using Lynn Grabhorn's "Playbook" and going through the exercises diligently.  It's been making a huge difference (improvement) in my daily experiences.  My beliefs about some things just don't serve me, I'm finding.

For example, after writing about it I realized that I believed that "I need to be punished for my mistakes."  Also that "I must EARN and DESERVE good things."  Now...there is nothing inherently wrong with those two beliefs - I am free to believe them if I want.

But guess what?  I don't want to believe them any more because they act as resistance to the flow of source energy and all good things.  So I continue to play a game of "imagine if those things I believe aren't true."

Imagination is so wonderful and so powerful - our thoughts are real!  Over time I can feel my new beliefs taking shape and the old beliefs atrophying!

I love this life.  I love you.  Thank you for reading this and making my experiences even more real and wonderful!

To the God in You,

Greg

Greg - that is such fabulous news and it's been wonderful to follow your story through this thread. I don't post often but read a lot and this thread really stood out. I will also try your process - thank you so much for sharing your ideas and your story.

I'm wondering if anyone on this forum has tried Greg's process in conjunction with EFT as a way of identifying and clearing beliefs on each rung of the emotional scale before moving up? I know many people on this forum have used EFT in conjunction with Abraham's teachings and while reading over your process it seemed like it might be worth a try.

Thanks also to all of you for writing out your new statements of belief (i.e. I love money and money loves me!) - it's so fun to read them and then think "Yes! I want that belief too! I'll then write them down and incorporate them into my book of positive aspects.

Thanks again -

Greg--wow!--you've inspired my first real post since joining.

I found the Grabhorn book at, of all places, the grocery store.  I suppose I can order the workbook.

Just curious,  where were you on the EGS while incurring the debt?

THANK YOU again for journaling your inspiring path.

I was just wondering if you know that Lynn Grabhorn was a student of Abraham?  She didn't seem to go too far in acknowledging it, and her book was a bit of a stretch for me, because she seemed to keep going for the BIG leap up the emotional scale.  But it IS a fascinating read on the power of positive thinking and ramping up the emotions.

I have a process that worked really, really well for me that I have shared with those who have PM'd me, and I am going to copy and paste it below.  Here it is:

1.  Great book!  Money is Love: Reconnecting to the Sacred Origins of Money by Barbara Wilder.

                      A short book with processes and meditations that were very effective in clearing my deep-seated beliefs about money, as

 well as understanding that money is anything BUT evil.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

 2.  A process from the Ascended Master St. Germain (channeled by Molly Rowland);

First of all, St. Germain teaches that money is “the currency flow of God” AKA “Good.”  Literally---the vibrational flow, a “current” that flows from our Source to us.

St. Germain also teaches that there is enough currency on this planet right at this moment for every man, woman, and child to have $4 billion dollars.  It is there.  And your good is YOURS.  It does not have anyone else’s name on it. [Or as Abraham says, “It is coded with YOUR DNA.!”]

3.  So….St Germain says to sit down every day for about 20 minutes for at least 7 days with a notebook, and start writing everything that comes to mind about money….

          “root of all evil”

          “filthy lucre”

          ‘ill-gotten gains”

          “can’t buy me love”

          “nobody in my family ever had any”

          “wouldn’t know what to do with it if I had it”

……………………………………………….and on and on and on………………………

When you finally feel in what St. Germain calls “the Lord God of your Being” [i.e. your Solar Plexus] that you have emptied yourself of all your “programming” on the topic---TAKE THE PAPER OUTSIDE AND SET A MATCH TO IT!  Release it to the Universe.

If it burns readily, you have done the work.  If you have to re-light the paper, then you have to do the process again for a few days until you have dumped more of the programming.

  1. This is where I shifted into the Barbara Wilder book and worked that.
 5. VERY BIG!!!!!! I TITHED!!!!!!  Yep!  If I found a dime on the sidewalk, I tithed every bit of any income that came to me.  I learned this from Edwene Gaines, a person that I know of personally, who has written a book, called The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity.  It is another way to clean up your vibration.

I TITHED TO ANYONE  OR ANYTHING THAT HAD GIVEN ME “SPIRITUAL FOOD” THAT MONTH.  I have tithed many authors, musicians, Jerry and Esther, even the AbeForum!!!!

Why tithing???  Because it gives you a feeling of having money to spare!  Because others who have broken through the “lack barrier” have found that tithing put their feet to the fire.  Because when you tithe, you have broken the habit of being anal about money, of feeling like you have to squirrel every little dime of it away to fend off some new disaster…

  1. I played the Prosperity game in AAIG.  I got a real checkbook ledger, used real deposit slips, and wrote on real-looking checks I bought at the teacher’s supply store.  Every day I spent $1000 more than I did the day before.
         I found that this process FORCED me to think about WHAT I COULD BE, DO, OR HAVE IF I “LIVED LARGE.”  I discovered that my mind had never truly gone past the little confinement I kept myself in as a result of lack-consciousness.  There was stuff out there to “buy” that I never really even knew about!!!!

7. I played (still do) "The Wallet Game" from AAIG--and I spend that $100 on things every day.

8. I use the "Ledger Process" and created a ledger for myself on the Excel program, and paid off just about everything in a year, even a $20,000 personal loan!  THAT one totally shifted my energy even about seeing the bill(s) in the mailbox!  I still use it faithfully---it's down to the holiday credit card and the mortgage now.

For an idea of what this netted me in the first year, you could look at my blog on [another website].  PM me for the web address if you wish to see it. Look for the entry on “How I used ‘The Secret.’

There is an interesting section in Violet's notes this week from the San Antonio workshop.  It has to do with the concept of "UNworthiness" as the reason that we have held our Abundance away from us.

Abraham said that the "unworthiness" has been ingrained from the teaching about "original sin" from the religions. As St. Germain has said, "It has kept us away from our Divine Inheritance."  Hmmmm--the Bible "editors" let slip in the phrase, "It is the Father's good pleasure to give you ALL."---but you don't hear THAT from the pulpits.  ::chin

Thanks Patricia.  You've given us quite a lot to digest.  And digest it I will!

Barb, NO WAY was I doing anything spiritual when I incurred that debt!  But I thought I was.  I had the best of intentions - but I was all action and no feeling.

Actually, I'm writing about it in my blog.  Like Patricia said, PM me if you'd like the web address.

Many wonderful Abers have been curious about my debt-forgiveness process.

To date, I have gotten banks to forgive over $700,000.  As in, “You don’t owe us a dime, Greg.”  I’ve had two attorneys in the last couple months look at me with their mouths agape, saying, “How in the hell did you get them to agree to that?  Why would they do that for you?”

Bear in mind, our feelings are so much more important than our actions.  How you feel about something will always, always, always trump how you act.  Even if you take the greatest action in the world, it cannot overcome your feelings about it.

That said: the action for this process is easy.  Simply call the lending institution and ask.  Every entity which lends money has to deal with default; all these companies have divisions which work with borrowers in, or nearing, default.

Be honest with them.  Of course present the facts in a way that works in your favor, but do not lie.

They will have forms for you to fill out.  Fill them out promptly, attach a detailed letter explaining your circumstances, and mail them back the next day.

Give them a week and a half.  If you haven’t heard from them, call them back.  If you can’t speak with the individual reviewing your case, try to get the name of that person.  Begin building a relationship with this person – leave polite, business-like messages and always do what you say you’re going to do, when you say you’re going to do it.

If dealing directly with the lending institution doesn’t go anywhere, you may feel inspired to search for, and contact, legitimate organizations that work with borrowers in, or nearing, default.  Professional assistance can, at times, be invaluable.

Now - how you feel while you perform the actions I’ve described is the important part!  Here are some things I do to make sure I’m “feeling it” instead of worrying, being afraid, saying, “They’ll never do this for me!”, doubting, and/or focusing on what I don’t have:

1. Anytime you’re contacting the institution, whether via forms you’re mailing in or a telephone call you’re making, think, “This is going to be a great opportunity for this person to do the things they’re really good at and the things they want to do.  This person has been waiting for an opportunity to help a deserving person like me – waiting for just this kind of an opportunity to make a difference in a deserving person’s life!”

:beautiful:

Think those sentences any time you find yourself wondering (or worrying) about what the answer to your requests is going to be!  Repeat it over and over until it becomes your expectation when you think about your lending institutions.

2. Write thank you letters, in advance, to the person, or people, with whom you’re working.  As soon as you know a name, sit down and pre-write that person a detailed thank you letter, thanking them for the exact outcome you desire.  Go into detail about how they’ve helped a truly deserving individual (you!) who will not be wasting the precious second chance they’ve been given!  Address this letter and sign it; it is a real letter that you’re simply not sending YET!

This is an important process in creating an expectation for a certain outcome.  It forces you to walk through all the “they’ll never do this for me” fears.  Remember: those fears are only a belief!  Just a simple belief!  You can just as easily believe, “they’ll do this for me”!

I’ve been amazed at how many of my letters, when I go back and read them, were 100% prophetic.  Nostradamus eat your heart out!

::whistle

3. Once you’ve taken the action necessary and you’ve performed your process techniques as described here, forget about it!  Go on and live your life as if you have no problem!  Because you don’t!

In fact, take it a step further.  Conjure exactly how it will feel to have this debt gone.  Revel in the security, the safety, the elation, and the freedom!  Then, once you’ve held those wonderful feelings in your heart, make a decision to feel that way right nowAll the time

::shooting

Live your life as if you’re already free of the debt.  Because you are!  Literally (think about that one for a while::thumb).

There’s much more to write but this post has already gone on too long.  Thanks for reading this marathon!  Sorry I wrote a novel.

To the God in You,

Greg

Greg,

I just want you to know that you have rendered a Divine service in what you posted today, that is going to have an amazing, liberating effect on the public that has been hypnotized into believing that never-ending debt is normal!!!

It is NOT normal to carry that "16  tons " of debt  that is owed to the "company store"  (lyrics that only those of my generation, will recognize!!!) :):)

Sending you buckets of LOVE,::cereal::cereal::cereal

Thanks Patricia.

Wanna hear something fun?

This morning I was balancing out November's register and updating my debt repayment schedule.

I set a goal, back in September, to have a particular debt ($11,000) paid off by the end of 2007.  As I updated my records, I saw that with a December payment of $1,900 I will have it paid off!  As I updated my checking accounts, I looked for the $1,900 and opened myself up to finding it (as I have done so many times since I started these processes last August).

I knew it would be there, yet I only found $900.

But that didn't bother me at all!  I knew finding the additional $1,000 during the month would be child's play.  After all, I've "found" over $60,000 in cold, hard cash since August.  What trouble will the universe have coming up with the additional $1,000 I need to reach my goal of paying off this debt?

About 2:30, I got the mail.  In the mail I found a check for $1,000!  I just sat down and laughed, filled with satisfaction and gratitude.

::frog

Thank you universe!

To the God in You,

Greg

Greg,

Your story is so inspiring.  Sometimes we allow debt to drown us.  I love the way you give step by step instruction to clean things up.  I know your book will be a success.

I am going to use this format for college money.  I have been afraid of acquiring debt.  But, there is so much free money out there and I am going to attract it.::nod

Thanks again,

Yes, I totally agree with this . . .Let me be honest with you. I am behind on my taxes. Many people say to me, when I tell them, how they think I'm going to jail or will be in jail, etc.I assure them, I am not worried as I keep in touch with the IRS each year and tell them the situations; and work with them to, soon, to get me up-to-date. Plus, there is no debtor's prison anymore; the IRS chases folks who owe hundreds of thousands of dollars [if I owe, it's more like a couple of thousand based on my income] or millions and I am honest with them.Last year, when I phoned the IRS -- I hadn't filed 1996, 1997 [I did file 1998]. So, since I had moved for the 20th time and didn't have all the forms from those previous years [they are in storage in another state]. I was having them mail copies to my new address. The IRS, informed me that my 1996, 1997 WERE NOT even ON THE COMPUTER anymore and that I "do not have to worry about it"!I told her to check and double-check as I know I didn't do them. She did and said, they are gone and I don't have to do them for those years. ::wow

attach a detailed letter explaining your circumstances, and mail them back the next day.

Thanks for sharing, Greg . . . you are inspiring. I have to do that "up-the-emotional-scale" process you talked about at the beginning. Perhaps it is 'old beliefs' about money that is keeping the larger flow from me?

Yes, this Abraham practice and processes are working beautifully for me, too -- yet, I'd really like it to be on a bigger scale regarding money; and for whatever reason, I must not be allowing it completely as some of my visualizations are for quite a bit more!::rocket

Interestingly enough, Greg. . . I, too, have felt a calling to write a book about my LOA experiences!

Yes, Patricia B, also moved me . . .about the tithe. On my birthday, this year, my LOA meet-up group and I each took $100.00 each, had them changed into twenty $5.00 bills each and handed them out to people on the subway! It was so much fun! And letting go of $100.00 dollars, just giving it away, was freeing.

::fireworks

Another thing I'd like to share . . .

Years ago, a friend of mine was the Choreographer for a little community theatre in my hometown of Phoenix, AZ. Frank was a very lovely, special man who would always greet you with "God love ya'!"

Each show he would allow a young person who aspired to become a Choreographer to be his assistant and help create some of the dancing for the shows.

At Frank's "celebration" of his life [he passed on at the age of 32-year-old] -- one of his young Assistant's told this story.

She had been the Assistant for one of the show's, of course. And on closing night, Frank handed her an envelope. She opened it and found several bills adding up to $25.00 dollars or so.

She asked Frank, "What is this for? I thought this was a volunteer apprenticeship."

Frank replied, "It is, but I wanted you to know what it feels like to be paid for doing something you love. And that you deserve it for bringing your love, dedication and joy to the show!"

That gesture encouraged this teen girl to apply to college and major in "Dance", even though everyone else encouraged her to study business. She loved dancing!

As far as I've heard, she did become quite an accomplished Choreographer!

Love and Light,

Hi Greg,

I am so amazed at the success you've created in improving your money flow with the debt forgiveness process, especially at the speed you have been doing this.  Your story is truly an inspiration.

Wow.  You are most certainly a deliberate creator who knows how to manage his reality.  And it leaves others "stumped"(grin).  Not everyone is on the leading edge - huh!

Very wise words.  I've finally learned (and I wish I had learn this sooner) that our feelings are everything, if we know how to gauge them properly.  With them, they become the deliberate creator's tools on how we create our own personal reality.

And like you wrote, action can never overcome (unaligned) feeling.

Yes, our only work is to allow.  That's all.  Let the Universe take care of the details.  It's so easy to do, but I know for me, we can make it more work than it should.

Thank you Greg for being a wonderful teacher. :)

Thank you Greg for your continuing inspirational input! Words cannot express my appreciation for your examples.

When I first read your thread way back when, I thought "yeah brilliant, wonderful and awesome story, but that'll never happen for/to me!". Well gradually I have be easing myself into alignment with the simple and profound thought of "why not me? I want it and I deserve it".

I am starting the ledger process. I am playing with the idea of financial freedom and loving my virtual realities of luxury and prosperity.

I just wrote to letters to my 2 main debtors thanking them for releasing me from my debts just like you said. It felt good! It also felt like the most natural normal thing to happen - no big deal. Well that's how the universe views it right?!

I am feeling very light about it and loving this feeling.

Hi Greg,

Your examples have been an inspiration to people far and wide.  I related your story to my sister yesterday and I could feel the palpable relief from her as she listened.  She is practicing thinking new thoughts to change old beliefs about having to work for money.  I could tell that your story was a changing point for her as she realized that it really does happen.  That it is not just a dream.

So I thank you for this very much.  No words I could have used would have soothed her like your story did.  So may the Universe pour money down on you!!!

Life is So GOOD!

I love you with my whole heart,  Carol

Today I sent the final payment to close out a $10,000 debt!  And I only just started paying on it in October!  When I crafted the note accompanying the last check today I wrote, "I hope this money blesses you and enriches your life.  Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share it with you."

Now I'm raising my vibrations and setting goals for book sales and website income in 2008.

I spent the first 40 years of my life thinking that my thoughts were reactions to my world.  Funny.  Good to know, now, that its the other way around!

I've noticed a lot of new members to this forum.  To the question, "Do any of us ever manifest big stuff?"  Oh yes!  It works and its real!  Its science.

If I'm willing to extend value to the universe I can expect the universe to flow it back to me!

To the God in You,

Greg

Bless you Greg,

This thread is wonderful to read through again and I intend to do just that.

You are an inspiration and a statement that 'it really can be done'.

Thank you.
