This is mostly just my memories and impressions of yesterday’s workshop at the Deerfield Beach Hilton - I didn’t take dictation because I was so enthralled!
An absolutely amazing day, where Abraham’s insights and wisdom delved deeper than I have ever heard them go before, in any CD, workshop, cruise collection or book...the energy was truly electric in that room.
There were very few questioners--I think a total of 5 or six people, max - and to tell the truth, most of the questions themselves we have all heard before...but the wanting of the questioners and the energy of the group spurred Abraham to more profoundly describe in richly detailed terms the way the universe works...and WHY it is so important to feel good, and the ways that humans prevent themselves from being in the Vortex...
A few high points for me:
ON HEALING TRAUMA AND HURT IN THE PAST
The questioner wanted to know WHY Abraham doesn’t recommend “going back” into the past to uncover childhood trauma and other hurts in the hopes of identifying and removing obstacles to joy...and Abraham proceeded to beautifully explain that there is nothing lurking in the past that can affect the present. THE PAST IS NOTHING MORE THAN A CURRENT SET OF THOUGHTS THAT YOU ARE THINKING NOW. It is only activated patterns of thought in the NOW that affect vibration, and that only by getting into the Vortex NOW will you be able to be in your power.
They likened the Vortex to being on a merry-go-round that is spinning fast, and that “exploring” past hurt and trauma knocks you off the merry-go-round and into the bushes...and when you feel bad, you can’t get back on. This analogy brilliantly went deeper, explaining how when you ARE in the Vortex, and therefore in your power, you WILL at some point, by training your thoughts, be able to be in the Vortex, look at a past contrasting event, and actually BLESS and LOVE the contrast that made you a stronger and more expanded version of you. Each past trauma, each hurt, put TREMENDOUS POWER in that Vortex (vibrational escrow), and when you are THERE in the VORTEX, you are HAPPY that LIFE CAUSED YOU TO BECOME YOUR INCREDIBLE SELF. (My words are not capturing their profound message - we will have to wait patiently for the CDs!!)
ON DEATH AND SUICIDE
A woman in the hotseat asked quietly for clarity on an important subject - and Abraham stopped her in her tracks. “Is this an ‘in the Vortex’ or ‘out of the Vortex’ subject,” they asked, a little sternly, fully well knowing the answer. For quite a while, Abraham would not let the woman tell us her “problem” as a way of illustrating that describing “what-is” out of the Vortex is futile - you can’t get in the Vortex that way. And then pointed out that MOST OF US allow ourselves too much of a DETOUR on our way to the Vortex that we NEVER GET THERE. Of course, after a while, Abraham softened and admitted that they had been playing with us all a little, and they knew we were all “dying with curiosity” over what the woman’s issue was.
Her son had committed suicide very recently. And then--Abraham went into a more thorough explanation of the after-death experience than they had ever attempted before...and how it is possible (if you are in the Vortex) to communicate clearly with the expanded version of anyone who has passed on...THEN ABRAHAM BROUGHT FORTH THE WOMAN’S SON for a dialogue! (I can’t describe - again, we’ll all have to wait for the CDs - but the information about our eternal projects and plans and continuing creativity after ‘death’ was SO SO uplifting.)
The woman’s countenance had completely changed by the end of the encounter. Her energy was radiant - she was beautiful, smiling and positively glowing. She had connected powerfully with her son--AFTER she had worked with Abraham to align her energy and make peace with the subject of death...and allowing herself to FEEL GOOD even though this shocking event had occurred quite recently....
Most of the day I sat spellbound, just drinking it all in, but I did make a few notes here and there. ( I don’t think they capture the depth and profundity that so many of us felt by being there, but I will share the scraps of notes I have.) If they are not in quotes, I’ve paraphrased:
Be cooperative with your own desires. “Make yourself a cooperative component”
“You are the not just the creator of your reality, you are the creator of YOU”
On any and every issue: “You’re the only one who can do anything about it.” No one else.
“Train your thoughts, one by one. Train yourself into alignment.”
“When you are up to speed with who you really are, it won’t feel too fast. “
“Experience the ease that results as you come into your own power.”
Yes, if there is very little variety, I can focus more easily. But then there is little growth, expansion or exhilaration.
Truth: Mix it up and bless the contrast that helps you grow into this AMAZING EXPANDED VERSION OF YOU.
“Prepare yourself vibrationally before you go out.” [segment intending]
“Don’t make getting into the Vortex a big deal.” It’s simply soothing yourself and doing or thinking about what makes you feels good.
“A friend is a catalyst to alignment”
“In a moment of positive focus, the wholeness of life is flowing through me.”
“A good life or happiness is created moment by moment by moment.” Collect good moments.
“The brain is not a storage bin. It is an energy receiving and transmitting mechanism.” Therefore, you do not need to look at the past for anything buried or hidden. It is always your habit of thought now that causes connection or disconnection.
“You only have to deal with what happened today.”
Give intent for improvement in your NOW.
When you are in the Vortex, you will be able to look at previously painful episodes of the past and BLESS the contrast.
“ALL pain and suffering are self-inflicted.”
We have the ability to focus (and feel) on purpose. This gives you access to your dreams and visions.
On “the futility of trying to focus on a problem”:
“Everything you worry about is bogus.”
“ There is no reason to replay something you don’t want to relive.”
If you know when you are and are not in the Vortex, trust that you know how to get right back in. “Something--anything--you can appreciate is your lifeline.”
“This is what I love about...[fill in the blank]”
“Follow the impulses that feel good”
“Watch for the signs and become expectant.”
“You are never punished for being disconnected.”
You have a responsibility to your dreams and visions.
The purpose of existence:
Forward motion
Thrilling moments
Things to look forward to
“It is the nature of a creator to create.”
“Source only looks forward.”
“The mantra of Source is ‘more’ ”
There was so much more I haven’t covered, packed into those few hours was so much timeless wisdom...it was a MOST unusual day!!!

Thank you for sharing this!! I'm so looking forward to getting the CD. Its so interesting that Abraham spent so much time talking about after-death experience and then communicated with this womans son.

 I am lining up with all these topics you mentioned. I woke with expectation to see the evidence of it and your thread is some of that evidence! Thank you!
My father is in non-physical (5 years) and we speak everyday. He is so helpful to me, he is more than he was in physical and he told me that I am very wise (in non-physical) and he should have listened to me more in physical. LOL! I always knew that! My dad gives a face and personality to my Universal Manager and I know he loves me so much, as I love him. I don't know why I shared that, hehe. It just felt good to.

Because I have been asking for exactly that! I have communicated with my father in non physical, but not nearly as you describe, and just an hour ago, I mentioned how much I am wanting to.

Thanks so much for sharing your expierence. I am spellbound by Abraham bringing forth the lady's son, that is ABemazing, What a wonderful way for her to find relief.
And the two above quotes for me are WONDERFUL................I love them

I love absolutely LOVE how Abraham's teachings just keep expanding and evolving, there is always something fresh, fun, interesting and exciting, every time I read or listen to them I feel I get something different or in a deeper way... we are so blessed!
