Hello everyone,

At the moment I am having quite a few sticky problems with an ever reemerging subject:

At first I am so eager to do a lot of things, eg going to work, drawin, sewing, reading, meeting friends… I am vibrant and almost dizzy from all these exciting ideas! Thinking about them makes me feel really good.

And then, when I want to start acting on them, it gets sticky. And slowly, or often not so slowly, these exciting things pile up and become “shoulds”: I should summarize all my inspiring Abe quotes I collected. I should start myke some real plans about this business ideas. I should gout and buy the paint for this picture I want to paint. I should make somethingnice and creative from the beautiful scraps and images I collected.

And now I am feeling stressed. Overwhelmed. I feel the resistance in me. And the more I try to overcome it, the bigger it gets!

Can you realte to this?

Do you have any ideas on how I can change my point of view, “reframe” my thoughts and perspectives so I can feel clarity, joy and energized?

Cheers

Hi Verena,

Sounds to me like you are overwhelmed by it all and thus start to feel obligated to do all these things you're not alligned with yet.

So what if you would chose just one of these things and think about it, milk it, imagine it, and enjoy doing it (all in your head).  That way you line up with it, and then you'll feel eager to really get on with it.  That's what inspired action is.

I've done that many times and it always gets me going.

If I know I should do something, but don't really feel like doing it, I just sit down and imagine myself doing it.  One of two things can happen, either I get so excited about doing it that wild horses couldn't stop me, OR I get this idea that seems to be falling out of the sky, about something completely different, but just as inspired, and then I act on that.

The thing is, it really isn't that important WHAT action I go with, it's always the inspired one if I follow this method and while doing the work I was inspired to, I always ENJOY doing it.

Does this help you in any way ?

Overwhelmed is the feeling of "It is Lack" instead of "It is done"

It is the feeling of "I need to do something more"

The moment you had a desire to start whatever task--- you "asked"--- and source created the finished product on the spot.

Your job now is to allow -- continually visualize the finished product and find your joy.

It is done. It is done. it is done. It is done. It is done. :exactly:

::downstream You can tell that you are pointed downstream but have some distance to go in terms of closing your gap by your above statement. Because the fact that you feel a DIFFERENCE in terms of the way your habitual vibration feels and the good feelings you experience when you start to think about your new ideas means that your dominant vibration contains more resistance than is possible to allow the desires through.

Once you feel hardly any difference between your regular thoughts and your thoughts about your desires, you will know that you are a match to what you want - and then of course you will be living them, because they will have come TO you, as a reflection of what you were vibrating.

Find ways to feel god about where you are now, in addition to what you want to be doing and you will close your gap more quickly.

Abe says:

We want to put a new descriptive or meaning on the word accomplish. We want to say accomplish means:

Let's accomplish vibrational alignment.
Let's accomplish vibrational sameness.
Let's accomplish the closing of the gap.
Let's accomplish basking in the dream of this vision.
Let's accomplish feeling good about something already done.
Let's accomplish happy anticipation in watching the universe bring things into being.
Let's accomplish a releasing of awareness in how long it's taking.

Let's make accomplish about energy and thought and feeling, and get it out of the realm of activity, action or doing. Accomplish THAT!

I love that (and their humor)! :)

As Belana explains, Abraham has often talked about procrastination as evidence that your energy isn't aligned on a particular subject.  Remember, it isn't your responsibility to make these things happen.  It may be that you just need to clarify your intentions -- as long as thinking about these things feels good, then it serves you because your ultimate responsibility is to feel as good as you can.  You are an eternal being and there's always going to be stuff that you have not yet aligned with -- that's what makes you an eternal being.  You remain eternally incomplete.  Putting yourself in the mode of trying to bang these things out just to get them done really defeats the purpose of having them.  The goal isn't to get them done, it's to have enjoyable things for you to do.  They're here to serve you, you're not here to serve them.

Hallo Verena,

Abraham has talked about this subject a lot lately.
This inherent sense of lack of time.
Any active creator will know the feeling all to well.

Abe says to spend your time, finding your alignment and getting into your vortex and
only then do inspired action in whatever time is left in your day.

Is it important to find frequent and fast relief from the feeling of beating yourself up about not having done all those things that you set up to do.

For me, focus wheeling has worked wonders lately.
Getting back to the sense that all is well,
that nothing is lost
that everything I want is waiting just for me in my vortex,
that there is no rush,
when I am inspired to act I will know and sense it.

Ich hoffe das hilft Dir ein wenig.

Best, Uwe.

Thank you for all your helpful advice!

The main points from your posts that really jump at me are
  1. CHOOSE ONE of all these things that are jumping around in my head
  2. thinking about it, milking it, imagining myself doing it, enjoying it in my head – and so
  3. Lining up with it, closing the gap, ACCOMPLISH m vibrational alignment (energy, thoughts, feelings)  and
  4. doing it joyfully or
  5. getting another joyful idea

IT is so true, the enjoyable things are here to serve me, not the other way around….

I really want to get to this knowing feeling that all is well. To make this my base to start my action from…

Yesterday, after having all these million thoughts rouning around in my head and feeling very restless, at some point it just stoped and I had a wonderful day out with my friends, in a ve nice city, with horrible weather and having fun anyway!

Now I have a "reference" feelingwise for being joyful and not in the "I have to do this and this..."-mode. And I want to milk it :)

::TU Danke schön , :kiss:for all your insights, they helped me heeps!

Cheers

Great points here already!

Key thought of relief for *me* on this topic is..."You never get it done, and you never get it wrong."

Even if you get it 'done,' as soon as you are fininshed, you already have something ELSE that wants to become, through you...So, really, it is endless, anyway.

As Belana said, Abraham points out to us that procrastination is really about the energy just not feeling lined up.

And sometimes you just aren't in the vibrational place anymore that you were in when you started collecting the materials.  So don't let them sit there and reproach you.  If you feel like you are not going to get started in the forseeable future, you could always donate them to a nearby kindergarten or children's summer camp.  They are always looking for materials with which to create children's art projects.

I like that you "broke the spell" by going out and enjoying the company of others.

i once heard abraham say that changing should to i could if i wanted to is a good way to soften the resistance.

i have made a deliberate effort to shift my vocabulary, so that i'm not 'shoulding' on other people...or myself for that matter!!

it also seems to me, that the word should has an out of the vortex vibration to it, as in there's something that has to be done that i'm not in alignment with.  try getting into the vortex, and then revisiting whatever it is that 'could be done if you wanted to' and see if it feels more exciting then!  have fun with this :)

I like this phrase "could..if..wanted".
It does soften the resistance of the vib of obligation.
Since words are translations of thoughts little aux. verbs
such as should, must, ought to could be improved if we wanted to.

Verenita, turn it over to the Universal Manager. I swear it works like magic. I did that a couple days ago with a particular subject in my life and that VERY SAME DAY I saw this big piece of driftwood come along. It was amazing!

Just tell the Universe "UM, I hand it over to you. I have complete faith, trust and love in you. Knock yourself out, you take the reigns, I will sip my margarita while you work" and watch the magic happen! The relief will lift off your shoulders and things will just start to happen.

I promise, it works.

Love,
Rachel

PS: I should add that when I start feeling resistance or that I need to do this or that in order to get what I want...Whew! Relax girl! The new manager is handling it! Kinda like I'm overlooking a big project and I entrusted someone to take care of the action part of it. "I should just let the manager do this and he will let me know when he needs my help. Otherwise I'm stepping on toes and I wouldnt want him quitting on me as he was HIGHLY recommended"...

::LOL

As Esther/Abraham said at the end of the DVD, The Secret...

"..there is nothing you're supposed to do..

..only what you want to do."
