Hi. I read your post.  I remember watching a program that was connected to LOA (the Secret) and he said something that goes along with what Abraham would say:  If you focus on getting out of debt, you will continue to attract debt.  You need to focus on prosperity.  Set up a debt repayment program and forget about "debt" then think about prosperity.  What you think about you attract.  I know finance can be a scary subject, but it needn't be.  If you use the Wheel in order to bring you down stream about your finances, it will help to get you into vibrational alignment.

You can also go to a 12 step program (debtors anonymous).  It works wonders for me.  I hope this last suggestion is allowed

MillionaireThisYear I totally love your name!

Debt; it feels like such a yucky thing and you want to get rid of. Right NOW! It can get so heavy and pervasive especially when the collections agencies are threatening you and youre getting letters from lawyers. You don't want to think about those bills and just looking at them sends fear up your spine.

Okay maybe youre not there yet but I have been all over this ground. My credit score is lower than that of people who have never had credit.

So, start telling a new story.

These *debts* are really good indications that the universe has lovingly provided you with something. Something you wanted or needed at the time. Feel appreciation for whatever that was. Go on a big Rampage of Appreciation for as long as it feels good.

Think of how good it will feel to pay them off. Feel the freedom NOW.

And KNOW, really really KNOW that you have already launched the rocket of desire and Source has responded and it is DONE. It's DONE!!!!

However it plays out for you will be uniquely FOR you. If you knew it was already DONE would you need to worry about it again?

So then another statement/bill/whatever comes in the mail and you feel that old habitual feeling again. And you remember; "Oh yes, it's DONE! My Universal Manager is looking after that."

Really feel the beauty of this contrast which you see as *debt*. See how it spurs you to want something. And wanting is a very very good thing.

Where you are is perfect and you are doing so very well!

We've had some really good threads on this in the past, with great details given.  I can certainly attest that every process in the AAIG book "works."  The Ledger Process, in particular, was the key for me.

I continue to use it to maintain my continuing abundance.

Abraham has said that most people read the processes, but don't use them, and that is why they are still asking...............

One thing that I did to pay off a fairly large credit card debt was; to take a blank check out of my check book and fill it out,  in the amount area I simply wrote "PAID IN FULL" and I wrote the same on the note line.  Then anytime I did a Rampage about money, or meditated etc I would hold the check in my hand and just really focus on how I would feel when I could write the check out for real. Eventually my wife and I inherited some money and I wrote out the check for the full amount of my debt. It was an amazing feeling. One thing I try to remember that Abraham says is to be easy about it, and don't try to force things too much. Your debt is already paid off you just have to get out of the way.

<zero debt and all-cash existence since 1999.

But not having read any AH literature about getting out of debt since I don't have any, I have not delved into their methods and therefore do not feel qualified to give any AH-related insights or experience.

But!

Feeling moved to respond so you'll know there are actual people who follow AH who are not only out of debt, but consciously incur no new debt.

From a vortex standpoint---

"I don't need to 'charge' anything. If I want something, it comes to me. Sooner or later."

Hello millionaire,

Yes.  That process works ABSOLUTELY.  Get started.

I had been doing it for over a year, updating the ledger every month, and the credit card company sent me a letter and reduced my debt by about 80%.

Its ALL about how that process makes you FEEL.  It makes you feel that your on top of it, that you are paying the debt back and paying back even more because of the pay double action on the lowest debt.  You start to feel good about it.  This process really does work and helps you to feel much better.

Plus  (iread this recently somewhere) because you are doing this process you change how you feel about receiving bills because you look forward to writing them up in your ledger.

So, this process is definetly about HOW IT MAKES YOU FEEL which  then attracts that in your life.

Thanks for the reminder about this.  DO it with fun in mind, get a account pad that suits you, put it in a lovely folder or something you like.  Feel good about it.  Thats the main thing and update it every month or when the bill comes in.

best wishes

Hi Millionaire,

I wholeheartedly agree with the advice to get on an automatic payment plan and then to shift your focus away from it or onto something better.  I have been paying off some credit  card debt, and I did that, and it made a world of difference in not having to slog thru all those each month.

Also, I made arrangements with all my creditors (except for one who wouldn't); I just called them up, and they were *so* willing to negotiate better terms for me, I'm sure because so many have been defaulting on their loans lately.  2 cut my interest to 0% for a year, and one cut $1000 off my bill.  I have even gotten a thank you note from a company for following the plan I made and saying that they would reinstate me back in a few months to normal status.

Hi - thank you all so much for your wonderful ideas and suggestions. I feel I have already shifted my perspective after reading your responses. I really liked the idea of focusing on prosperity instead of the debt. Also I have tried scripting leaving it the manager and surprisingly there have been some surprises
