My partner and I are also in the process of attracting a house. Every day I feel more and more certain about the possibility of it actually happening!! What works for me is writing a list about why it will be possible to build a house of our own in one year time, even though we have no savings at this moment. First it starts out with 'rational' arguments and then with beliefs which are growing stronger every day:

- Because we both have jobs and thus have an income.
- Because someone owes me $20.000
- Because I'm working on a new business which will yield in a lot of money.
- Because money flows constantly, also to me.
- Because there is enough money in the world and thus also enough for me.
- Because I believe I will attract the house.
- Because I'm worthy of it.
- Because it's part of my expansion.

My partner is a 3D-modeller (for animated movies) and we have modelled our entire dream house in 3D. It feels so real now, you can actually walk around in it on the computer screen and this makes it so much easier to visualise me walking in it for real.

When I imagine being in that house, I feel happy and excited and peaceful.

I don't live in the USA, but the new fridge is absolutely FABUWONDERFUL, it really does keep the veggies a lot fresher and they hold longer than they did before.  It's German tecnology however, "Miele" to be exact, sorry for the comercial moderator guys ::devil

There's so much going on here right now, and so much that's been delivered and still to be delivered. :) I know the feeling of not being able to wait.  But I've decided to use this unique time to practice how to enjoy what's coming, so whenever I feel impatient, I remind myself that this is a unique time for me and I should make the most of it, milk the appreciation for the guys that are working for me right now, and the people that are coming to me in their trucks, etc...

It isn't working quite fluently yet, so I've still got some more practicing to do ::devil

Hi Belana,

I'm brand new to the forum and have only been reading so far.  I can so relate to Belana's string though that I had to chime in, even though I'm only three pages into reading the string.

What I should clarify though is that I can relate only to the background leading up to the windfall, not yet the windfall.  I am where you were a couple years ago I guess.  We live from check to check, debt collecting as we speak, with an old house badly in need of repair, so I'm most inspired to read that you were able to go from this to your situation in such a relatively short period of time.  I'm especially grateful that you are sharing so much about your process.

I found Abraham only a little over a year ago.  Our money troubles were just starting to become serious back then.  In the first few weeks, I did the money process where you do the virtual checkbook, depositing and spending greater and greater amounts.  At first it was so much fun I was just giddy, I truly felt rich just imagining all the things I could do with the money, after, of course, I used the first several days to pay down debt and do all the "responsible" things.   During those fun early weeks, I got a sudden windfall at work that increased by paycheck by triple for over a month.  Let me tell you, it made me a believer fast!  But then, as the money amounts increased beyond what I could allow myself to imagine, I found that the checkbook game became a burden.  Instead of thinking "ob boy, what can I do with the money today!" I was thinking, "oh god, I haven't spent the money today, what am I going to do with it?"  I lost the excitement and couldn't figure out how to get it back.  I realize that the feeling was what had made the difference, but try as I might, I couldn't get it back.  Then, as the extra money flew out the door and no new money came in, I started to panic, maybe it doesn't work, I thought.  And the more I worried, the worse our situation got.  Work slowed to almost a halt, we lost health insurance, almost couldn't pay the mortgage, and have had to cash in retirement funds just to live on.

We kind of hit bottom, or almost anyway, a few months back.  I was very panicked because I didn't have any idea how we were going to pay the bills.  I thought I was going to have to go get another job, which just made me want to curl up in my bed and sleep to think about.  Anyway, long story short, I decided not to do that because of the way it made me feel, and instead decided to work on my money vibration.  It has gotten a little bit better, if for no other reason than because I feel better.  We're paying the bills, not getting ahead yet at all, but not in scary land either.

So, here I find myself, and I'm going to eagerly read the rest of this string to find out what other things I might try to get that enthusiasm back.

Thanks so much for all of it!!

Hello Motherslove,

and welcome to the forum ::hugging

I'm very glad my story inspired you and gave you new hope.  Indeed, reading your story, it seems that you are where I used to be and if you don't mind me saying so, the first thing you really need to do is STOP telling this story, to others, but most of all ... to yourself.

I know this is hard to do at first, because we were brought up to always tell the truth, and fantasising is lying, so that makes us feel bad.  But to start you can also just NOT tell the bad story anymore.  You don't immediately have to tell a story that could be, or might happen in some far future, but which you cannot believe right now.

And another thing, about that process where you spend that money every day, I've had (almost) the same experience.  The cause is that the small amounts are believable up to a certain point, but after that, we get to amounts that just don't fit us just yet, so we start to feel uncomfortable, and then get bored with the entire game.

If it frustrates you or bores you, just stop doing it, you don't HAVE to do any process, they are all made to get us to the feel-good-place, and if they no longer get you there, there's no need to act on them anymore.  What you could do however, if you feel inspired to, is start the game over, just with the small amounts, until you get bored again.  I bet you that when you start over a few times, you'll be able to stretch the game further, because your comfort-zone where money is concerned, will grow.

I don't know if you have come across my "processes" yet on this thread, but there are a lot which I've described that truly made me feel good, and made my money-vibe increase, and thus the attraction.  So HAVE FUN with it all, it's shared on this forum for others (who are where I used to be) to also get to the place where I am right now. ::money ... and beyond...

Hi again Belana ,

I want to bump this thread because it was a story that opened my mind to the wonderful realization that the path of least resistance can be absolutely anything.

There are an infinite number of ways to get what we most desire and need.

Thank you for your story and I hope that soon you have more inspirational happenings to share with us.

More Driftwood please.
