Hi everyone!

I used to post here more often, but i've been off on my own and found that I wasn't feeling the need to be a part of this forum for a little while.  I'm not sure what it was, because i've really enjoyed everyones posts i've been reading today!  I guess I didn't need the uplift, because everything has been absolutely grand for me.

I have managed to manifest huge things in my life ever since I can remember, and Abraham-Hicks was the literature I needed to prove to myself what I really knew all along.  I am so much happier and positive since I found Abraham, and I'm sure this resonates with everyone here!  Anyways, I digress...

I just wanted to tell everyone about a magnificent occurrence in my life in the last couple of months.  I have lost 30 lbs through using the law of attraction.  I am on a program, but for the first time in my life I have found something that is completely comfortable and I am so incredibly in alignment with that it is freakin EASYYYY!  I don't even want to get into how much weight has been a struggle for me, and I still have weight to go, but for the first time ever I feel confident that a)it is going to keep coming off and b)I will maintain the loss for good.

Now I am not going to share what the program is that I found, because that is so irrelevant and my weight loss has nothing to do with the program, and rather what I did to FIND the program.  I started making lists months ago when I first discovered Abraham...and two of the main things that I wanted was to feel full and satisfied and I wanted to be able to eat whatever I wanted.  So I repeated those as a mantra..."full and satisfied, eat what i want, full and satisfied eat what i want"....I didn't know what to expect, but I thought it would be that I could just sit around eating crap and somehow law of attraction would make me thin.  But as we all know, the universe works in mysterious ways so I knew not to focus on how and just what I wanted.

I stumbled across a book recently that outlined the program that I was to embark on.  The law of attraction brought to me a program that works, that allows me to eat whatever I want, and that has allowed me to keep losing enormous amounts of weight while feeling satisfied.  Now this diet is far from an "eat anything anytime" diet, but it works for me.  Also, as a past salad hater, I never expected salads to be "what I want" but through this program I have become addicted to raw fresh veggies.  who'd a thought?

I guess what I'm trying to say for anyone who is having a hard time losing weight and getting into the vortex about the subject, my 2 cents is that you REALLY need to just drop the notion of thinking about how you are going to lose weight, and don't start on an exercise or diet regimen that doesn't make you excited or at least hopeful.  The universe will deliver!!!!!!!

Oh man, I hope this wasn't too long.  I was just really excited to share this with all of you because this is by far my biggest accomplishment.  I now have no doubt in my mind that I can accomplish anything that I want easily now!!!!!!::grapevine

what a relief! ::LOL

oh yeah, I completely forgot...another thing that I wasn't a huge fan of was exercise.  infact it was an even larger point of conflict for me.  so I said forget about it, and focused on what made me excited.  The pounds started to shed without any extra physical activity.   I have now started to exercise FOR FUN. yes that's right folks, i have been enjoying physical activity...all because I don't have to equate it to weight loss anymore. sigh, ain't life grand? ::woohoo

thanks for listening everyone :) hope your day is great!!
so much love,
sarah

Hi Sarah and her silent appreciator mom!

This is a great story!!! I think it should be in the new Success Stories forum!

http://theabeforum.com/forum9/

and I'm going to direct other weightloss questions to it.  Nice work, Sarah! I love that you just focused on what you wanted, and didn't worry about HOW.  I also love that you have started enjoying veggies and exercise, NOT because they'll 'get you thin' but from a genuine place of alignment with your inner being.  It's wonderful.

Abe says that when we are in the Vortex, we can only make choices (of food or activity) that are in alignment with our vision for ourselves.

So, when we are in the Vortex,we are aligned with our inner being, who knows what we believe about our bodies. Thus we are INSPIRED to action that is in alignment with our beliefs.

It's really really really great to hear about that actually happening in your experience!

xoxo

Hi Sarah!

Thanks for sharing your awesome success!! I love it! And, of course, the timing is perfect.  I love my body, I love its curviness. I would love to fit into my smaller clothes again.

Lately, everything has been going sooo well for me that I really know I can create whatever I want. So, today, I was really just playing around being super happy as I have been, and telling myself how much I love my body! And it feels great! And I would rarely read any thread on weightloss, never has been a big issue for me, but I felt inspired to read this and LOVE IT!  Spot on!

Keep it going and keep enjoying life and doing everything you are doing!

Hi Sarah's Momma!!!

Much love!

Don't you love how that happens?  I always seem to open the exact thread that I need to read at that exact moment.  Also, I will read the same thread twice on two different days and will take something very different from it from day to day :D

Wow, sarahumbrella, your "weight releasing" story sounds a lot like mine!

I started about 2 years ago, around the time I first got into Abe~ it took months and months to even be able to even vaguely envision myself thin again!! I just felt soooo heavy!!
I worked slowly through things, because I wanted it to be a permanent change, and I was willing to wait for the results to catch up with me!

About 6 months ago, I found the plan that allowed me to eat what I wanted, when I wanted ~ with portions that are much smaller (I'm a petite woman, and don't need "regular" portions to fill me up!) than I had habitually started eating!

Also, I only do exercise that I enjoy~ that way, I do the exercise regularly, with relish!

So far, I'm gauging that I've lost close to 30 lbs, since I started looking for my Answers and lining up with being thin, two years ago. MOST of that time was spent in simply trying and trying to picture it actually happening for me!! About half of that weight loss has happened in the past 5 and 1/2 months!

And as you've said here and I agree~ it isn't the weight plan itself that is important~ the important thing is lining up with finding your perfect solutions!

Once you line up with the reality of finding your very own perfect-for-you solutions, the universe will deliver them to your door, you'll recognize them, you'll start doing them ~ and you'll find it happening for you!

AWESOME CHRISTINE!

btw, I ate fish and chips last night, and it was sooOOoOOOOooo good :)  I am almost 2 pounds lighter today than I was yesterday. That's what I'm talkin about!!  Food is so much more fun now that I know it's not what is going to make me fat!

Congratulations Sarah!  I'm glad someone bumped this up.  As a weight loss coach who studies Abraham, I can say BRAVO!  It isn't about the plan, or the exercise, or the food - it is about enjoying - it is about pleasure - it is about alignment!

My 65 pounds literally melted away 20 years ago when I figured that out!  I never looked back!

Good Morning Susanna, I would be really interested to hear how you finally got your head around it once and for all.

I am 'on my way' to phoenix. I climb the brow of the hill and I can see phoenix coming into view, but then I get a call from Yuma and it reminds me that Yuma still exists! I wouldn't say that I turn around and go back, I just sort of trun off the engine for a while and stay there.

I know that I am really getting a handle on this, and I have never felt happier with 'what is', I just feel that it's going to take just a little more cleaning up, but I don't know where the dirt is!!!!!!

Would love to hear your story xxx

Hey!!!

I never mentioned it, but  I am also shifting  a little weight... It started about 5 weeks ago, and well honestly nothing changed much, but I had hope... but to be honest, I pressurized myself and got me to do a whole lot of activity in order to loose weight, more water, exersise, more veggies, less fat.. not nothing, NOTHING shifted.....

THEN I read about your success and thought wouldn't it be nice.....

then I began to relax.. just tried to do the things I enjoyed... and I already like walking and walking relaxes me, is cheap, I sometimes even collect things that I want.. I do processes, work things out in my head blah blah blah...

Last week i went on a short holiday... It was general debauchery!!! Much much fun!!! i met awesome people, ate EVERYTHING and drank EVERYTHING.... and wierdly this is the 1st time in the 5 weeks that I seemed to have lost anything at ALLL!!!! my clothes are looser, I feel smaller and lighter... It is a little hard to, I am still having fun with everything.. still doing the veggies, and water and excercise BUT the difference is this time is that I am relaxed and I am having fun with everything....

I am about to leave the office now and I am off to walk home and have some nice chicken with a salad...  and who knows maybe a glass of wine..

Much love and thank you!!
