Hello friends! I'm still at the "find the perfect apartment" game!

Honestly, I havent really been trying because I don't feel like my energy is lined up. Even though I am currently staying on a friend's couch with my wonderful Labrador, I still can't get excited enough to go and find one.

I think its because the one that I totally had in the bag, ended up telling me my credit score didn't make it past. So ever since then, I have been working to feel good about this but I am struggling a bit.

I am in no rush, but I would love my own space so very soon!

I know there is a lot more I could be doing with my energy to find a place...but I can't seem to get inspired to. Looking at what is, there really is nothing out there. But I know I can change that.

Does anyone have suggestions? I'm not sure why I am being so energetically lazy about this, but its a bummer.

Boo, I want an apartment!! :?

Love,
Rachel

I think your wanting is big enough that all you have to do now is just relax and let it come to you. I think the best thing might be to not try to work at it-- instead just try to focus on other things that bring you into the vortex and pull your general energy up.  Believe me, you'll definitely get certain inspired ideas when you're not "working" on it.

It can be hard because we're taught that we need to "do do do" and go out there to make things happen.  Make this a fun experiment! You've already asked, now just get off the subject (as best you can), know and expect for this to be beautifully resolved very soon, and just flow with it.  I wouldn't try to bring up your energy on this specific subject-- have fun and see what not working on it does. Just try and let it go....

Maybe this little experiment will work wonders and it'll show you how easy the Universe brings us stuff when we release resistance (not by working on it, by just focusing on other stuff).  Then you'll report back how fantastic it turned out and you'll inspire me (and others) to stop "working" on specific issues :)

More and more I'm realizing that we really never have to "work" on anything....we just need to start feeling good in general and it all just falls into place.  It takes a certain amount of trust to just let go and know that it will all turn out perfectly....but try it!  Take a week or two and don't do anything apartment related unless you feel absolutely inspired to.  And you'll know it's inspired when you feel fantastic about your action. Just focus on the good in your life already and feel the essence of all good things surrounding you.  Try it :)

Hi,

I pretty much second what Michael has to say. Just chill out and relax and enjoy that it's cool to stay at your friend's couch for as long as you have to. No need to rush.

And then that perfect apartment that is lined up in your Vortex will just come to you one way or the other.

The answer is always so simple and yet, very profound.

Thank you both lovely gentleman!

Last night, I was inspired to drive down this long road here in town on the southside of town by my work. I saw a ton of apartments with for lease signs with phone numbers. I didnt write any of them down, because I am saving that for tonight when I get off work (yes, there will still be light out).

That is one of the inspired actions I have received....and I am waiting for others to show up. I am working on my credit situation by sending a shitload of money to my student loans and that will make me feel better about that.

I know I will find something, I think every day I come closer.

Rachel

Hi Chesterama,

I found my dream home by just walking around town everyday (I LOVE to walk).I would just look for the cutest house everywhere I went. I would walk around and say," that one looks nice, that one would be great, etc." I had 5 houses that were my favorite. Then one day, my number 1 favorite came up for rent in the paper. I applied for it and have now been living in the cutest little cottage for almost 11 years!!! So maybe you and your Lab can just walk around the neighborhood you want to live in and just DREAM it into reality...

Also, you may just want to start thinking about what you want from your new place. Things like having a yard for your Lab, a dishwasher, or laundry, etc. whatever YOU want... You can even make a dream board of your perfect place to live!!! Just make sure it's fun to do.....

I've been having trouble finding an apartment for years...still stuck living at home with my mom which is a nightmare. I thought about walking around my neighborhood....sounds like a good idea.::chin
