My wife and I are both planning to attend. It'll be our first workshop. And we're so excited.

I hope to go as well, if the universe cooperates. To find it, Google: Abraham-Hicks workshops. It's the first result that comes up.

I know we can't add links here, but I think we can link to the "Mother ship" at A-H. Right? Here it is, ASSuming that's cool:

Thanks for that phone #. I have two possible options, so Chicago is looking good for one or the other.

I thought I'd add, if you go to that Abraham-Hicks site link, hover your cursor over the green dot image on the left for the Chicago workshop if you want more details. (It's not obvious. They assume we're all mind readers. LOL!)

The hotel discount deadline has passed, which is no great shakes. But does anyone know the deadline to sign up for workshops, before you must pay the higher "pay at the door" workshop price?

Thanks, wonderful ones!

I'm booked for my first Abe workshop (in Chicago)!
::LOL::woohoo::LOL

Great news. The rates have gone DOWN $55 per night at the hotel where the workshop will be held, Westin Chicago Northwest in Itasca, IL.

Go to Expedia (dot com) and search for Itasca, IL or Chicago hotels. You'll see it's $69 for single occupancy; $104 (including all taxes, etc.) for double occupancy at that hotel. Book it from Expedia. You don't check in as part of the Abe group because those higher-rate rooms are sold out any way (although the rooms are identical). So I hope the rest of you Abers on the fence can go now!

The universe is cooperating to our every whim! :-) LIFE IS GOOD!

Ok - it's down to the wire! I will make a decision one way or the other tonight. I realized there is another workshop in Chicago in Sept, which may be a better choice for me. If I go this weekend, I will be taking the Amtrak from Detroit. In Sept, I will have a new truck and I would drive instead. Not sure what I will do. The train sounds like a fun adventure though..hmmmmm.

One thing to consider, the June workshop is in a far western suburb, probably not at all close to the Amtrak station, which I believe is in the heart of downtown. So you would need transportation to/from the train station, which may cost quite a bit.

Thanks Bob. I looked at the schedule and it looks like I would switch trains at the main station and transfer to one that would go to one of 2 stations that are within 13 miles of the hotel - $35 cab ride to the hotel from there, which isn't too horribly bad. Tried to find a flight, but what ever happened to the cheap flights between Chicago and Detroit?? This is why I may just wait and drive - less hassle, and I love to drive anyway! Still thinking...........

My partner and I drove to Dearborn, MI over Memorial weekend to visit the Henry Ford Museum. It took us around 6 hours with holiday traffic and a few quick rest stops. So that may give you an estimate if you do drive in September (also factor in the time zone change, Central vs Eastern).

So, I got to thinking......I could probably find a flight equivalent in dollars to the train + taxi if I choose a workshop in a different city, so that's probably what I will do. Bob - you got me thinking about what a long drive it would be too, and I realized that there may be an entirely easier workshop for me to attend other than Chicago.

Enjoy the workshop on Saturday guys! Looking forward to your notes containing all your newly gained wisdom!

Love to all!!
