Both these programs were a puzzle to me when I got my beautiful iMac at the end of summer 2007. Long were the hours I spent trying to get them to do the most simple things, especially Garageband.
However, with over 40 clips of video I needed to send to my producer in California and wanting to look my very best, I sat down and somehow "clicked" with iMovie this time and was able to adjust color, contrast, sound levels and all that other good stuff and the final product looks MINT!
My success at iMovie led me back to Garageband this morning, thinking, "Surely it is as simple as iMovie, once you get up and going."
And it was! Cut, paste, remove count-ins, add a fade-out, and...I'm rockin'!
You have no idea how happy this makes me...

Ha, ha, Tiffany! What say you and I both aim to become masters at both? 
I taught myself photoshop about a year ago and every day, learn new new new things.

I've taught myself photoshop, too! What a funny coincidence.
I definitely say you become an expert at both, have an amazing youtube vlog, and make a fanclub on facebook. Sound good?
