Hi Abe Friends!

My office all knows I know something they don't. I am open about going to see Abraham but haven't given them much more than the LOA and the way I view life here on earth. The curiosity has got them. My boss has asked me if I'd like a 15 minute window to share some of my positive learnings.

Help!  How much do I say? What can I say in 15 minutes? Where do I start?

All ideas so welcomed and appreciated!

Well, you said that your boss asked you to share your positive learnings...do you have a relevant story of your own life to tell related to positive learning?

I would imagine that if you start like Abraham does----we are a non physical energy coming down to this physical plane for expansion...--- might not go too far, unless of course you're in a very open minded office.  :D

In my office people ask me---'how come is it that you're always so cheerful?'  Don't you ever get upset?  What's your secret?

So i go down the road of, my goal is to be happy, and concentrating on the positive aspects of life, etc.

I gave them examples that I could either choose to wake up and start whining about coming to work, or I could wake up, and do a rampage of appreciation on being grateful for having a job, enjoying socializing with the people I work with, etc.

I tend to mention the abraham lingo, without saying abraham 'says' because the one time that I mentioned esther and abraham, the quick response was----isn't that satanic stuff from that scam the secret?   Then again, I work in a very conservative office, so I just keep the stuff generic :)

I would point out the importance of feeling good and how what we are thinking effects how we feel. I would explain that feeling good is a sign that we are in alignment with the divine, eternal, and all wise part of ourself. And that taking action while feeling good is a powerful leverage that multiplies the impact and results of the action taken.

I would discuss the importantance of taking the time to visualize the desired outcome and to imagine how that feels, before taking action.

I would explain that we live in a vibrational universe and that what we see, hear, smell, touch, and taste is all vibrational interpretation. Everything has its own vibration and those things that vibrate at the same frequency are attracted to each other. We have attracted everything that we are experiencing in our life right now by the vibrational signal that we have been sending out. So, we our responsible for our life and that  there is no need to wait for anyone else to change because we change our lives by changing our vibration, by changing our thoughts. We know how we are vibrating by how we feel. Our feeling are  our indicators of how we are vibrating. Its like a GPS system: feel good-on track, feel bad- off track. Pay attention to the things and thoughts that make you feel good and do more of that.

The power of feeling good has been extremely underated while the power of working hard has been extremely overrated.

Here are just some words that came to me that I think could speak to a non-Abe audience without going into all of the lengthy explanation of non-physical, vibration, Inner Beings, etc: (in parantheses are my Aber notes/explanations) (I think the first 2 1/2 pages of MLOA is a brilliant "hook" for anyone because there is so much evidence in the physical world to back it up that everybody can relate to)

For me, one of the biggest "eye openers" that there could be something else going on in the world of cause and effect, was some attention given (pages 3, 4, 1/2 of 5 of MLOA) to helping me understand that despite what I may have heard, the reason that I have not succeeded in creating my perfect life is not for lack of trying. I KNEW that I had tried and tried HARD! and yet could never quite try hard enough to get to where some other people seemed to get effortlessly. And then, the remarkable insight that maybe...just maybe (haha, definitely) there were other things at work. Maybe it is not your effort that is the cause and maybe it is not things that "happen to me" that "cause" me to feel bad and get tripped up. Maybe, just maybe (definitely), I could control the way I feel...and maybe, just maybe (definitely) the way that I choose to feel was the cause and what I experienced was the effect--and NOT the other way around. What an empowering feeling! That I have control over what "happens to me" because what "happens to me" is a reflection of how I'm feeling... and ultimately, having control over how I feel about ANYTHING is the one thing that I have the most certain control over!

Everything can be taken from a man but one thing; the last of the human freedoms – to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.

-Viktor Frankl, Holocaust survivor

No matter what is happening around me, there is always at least two different ways of looking at it: (1) to look at the wanted / the positive, or (2) to look at the UNwanted / the negative...and it is my ABSOLUTE FREEDOM to choose which way I DECIDE to look at it. And when I CHOOSE an attitude of looking toward the wanted, the positive, the solution, the 'silver lining', then I CHOOSE to expand that glimmer of hope, that positive aspect, until the WANTED can consume the UNwanted.  But when someone CHOOSES--and it IS a choice--to look at and dwell upon the UNwanted, the negative, the problem, the gloom and doom, then they are CHOOSING to allow that aspect of the situation to be MAGNIFIED, until any positive that might have been there can hardly be seen any longer. And if you realize this and you try it out just as an experiment on pure faith of "what if it's true?", then you will see that it is true and then you will know, really KNOW, that nothing is ever, ever, ever "happening to you". Nothing good or bad ever "happens to you"....it is all, ALL, ALL a matter of your attitude and focus. It is all under your control and everything in your experience is within your power to change and to improve.
